The Critical Mass is recruiting a Business Development Analyst to support our planned growth and projected partnerships and projects for 2022 and 2023.
Role and Responsibilities
The Analyst will support Business Development operations, including but not limited to identifying USG requests for proposals (RFPs) and solicitations. The individual will report directly to TCM’s Vice President of BD & Strategy. The following tasks and responsibilities are associated with this role:
Regularly monitoring the US government’s open-source platforms, such as SAM-Domestic, USAID, DTRA, etc. for current funding opportunities and RFPs, and populating TCM’s list of potential bids reviewed weekly during BD discussions.
Analyzing notices of funding opportunities (NOFOs) using an existing matrix to determine whether TCM or partners are the right fit for identified procurement notice.
Assisting in the preparation of proposals for submission to the prospective sponsor.
Other tasks and relevant activities as needed.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Strong writing and analytical skills.
Background or demonstrated interest in US foreign policy and national/international security.
Understanding of USG contracting and procedures a plus.
MS Office Suite proficiency.
Ability to multi-task and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Must be available up to 5 hours per week.
Preferred Skills
Some experience in international affairs, including a relevant past internship preferred.
Data management strongly preferred.
Foreign language a plus.
